cystic acne and green pus
Cystic acne and green pus is a frequent condition as faced by kids, teenagers and adults of all sexes, ethnicity and regions. What appears to be a small red lump may or may not develop into something really severe causing severe itching and discomfort and not to mention become quite obvious and unappealing. The reddish color of the acne results due to the germs within such acne interacting with the internal fighting mechanism of the body.
The white blood cells in the blood stream interact with bacteria on the skin which eventually leads to the formation of a lump on the skin. If the foregoing gets prolonged than the condition can get severe leading to a cystic acne (i.e., more than one cyst). Subsequently, if the conditions persist for any reason whatsoever, then this may further lead to worsening of the acne and formation of a liquid based sticky matter called pus due to inflammation. The green pus which is where all the activity is taking place, can grow up to five millimeters in diameter.
Cystic
acne and green pus, which can be painful and sensitive to touch should never be developed if appropriate and timely treatment of the acne is carried out in the nascent stages. If it cannot be, then severity of acne will have to be dealt with by means of topical acne treatment or natural internal cleansing technique.
Such severe acne should not be squeezed or touched as it may worsen the condition and may leave a scar for considerable period of time.
To avoid the worsening of acne, avoid using abrasive soapy substances or any non prescribed medication (application or drug) unless prescribed by your dermatologist after appropriate medical examination. Also, unclean hands should not be used to touch the acne affected area or close to it.
Another common reason of aggravation is high levels of stress. Dietary habits also have a bearing in worsening this condition or making it prone to cystic acne after it has been cured. Hence, fruits and vegetables should be taken consistently (as they contain good portions of Vitamin A) to treat or abstain from cystic acne and green pus.
