Oily skin is common in most teenagers and is characterized by shiny skin with enlarged pores and is prone to acne and breakouts. This type of skin will need special attention as there needs to be a good skin care régime in process to prevent breakouts. You will need to use oil free cleansers and moisturizers and all of your products will need antibacterial agents to prevent infection and pimples.

Combination skin is when the area around the forehead nose and chin is oil and prone to blackheads and pimples but the cheeks are normal or dry. This skin will need two skin care products to treat the different areas because if you use the oily skin care range on this skin it will work well on the tea zone but will dry out the cheeks and other dry areas causing irritation.
Dry skin is a low production of sebum and is common in older adults and people will dermatitis and other skin conditions. This skin type will be irritated by heat, alcohol and any non natural ingredients in skin care products. It is good to take oral omega oils to help internally with this problem.
Your skin will feel tight and flaky due to lack of elasticity and emollients. You need a high quality oil based moisturizer and cleansers to take care of this type of skin. A lot of people with this problem will also have sensitive skin. Sensitive skin will be red in appearance and will react to heat and cold by breaking out in red spots on the cheeks and nose area. This type of skin is typical in Northern Europeans and will require barrier moisturizers to protect the skin from the elements.
